PetPALS Volunteer Training Day
Pet PALS will host a volunteer training day for all of its current volunteers as well as for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer with our organization. Training will include a demonstration of the proper procedures to use in dog and cat recovery following surgery. There will also be an overview of the various volunteer positions and the job responsibilities associated with each. The training day is scheduled for January 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m at the PetPALS clinic located at 2003 RR 1431 West in Marble Falls. Lunch will be provided. New volunteers should e-mail their RSVP to jan8155@gmail.com.
PetPALS' mission is to provide low cost spay and neuter services and educate the public about the impact of unaltered companion animals in the community. Our primary goal is to have a significant effect on the euthanasia (a nice word for “kill“) rate at our local animal control facilities, conservatively estimated to be 5,000 or more per year.
